Edgewater invests primarily in early stage software businesses. We look for companies that have at least $3M in ARR, with some market traction. We typically make control investments that fully align us with management.
We generally invest in companies headquartered in the UK or continental Europe. We look for companies that are already global in scope or have the opportunity to expand into new countries/regions. We have experience helping international companies grow operations, round out management teams, and drive sales in North America and globally.
There is no one path to growth. Therefore, we work with our portfolio companies to improve and expand product capabilities, enter new markets, and expand or improve sales practices. Sometimes acquisitions can accelerate growth, so we are always on the lookout for merger and acquisition opportunities for our portfolio companies.
